Whitney Foundation

Mission

Our mission is to have our students admitted to and achieve success at their best match university.

That means they must be academically well prepared, be personally well prepared, and know which schools will be a good match and be represented to those schools.

The Foundation has made key difference in each of these areas. Some of the contributions have been:

Academic Preparedness

• Over $100,000 worth of physics laboratory equipment and demonstration of equipment.
• Equipping 5 new science labs - lab tables, chairs, microscopes, etc.
• Class sets of textbooks for 7th and 9th graders.
• University Level Comprehensive Dictionaries
  

  (The Oxford English Dictionary & The Grove Dictionary of Music) These will not be found at other high schools or community colleges.

Personal Preparedness

• Organizers for every student
• Band uniforms
• Drama stage
• Robotics program
• 150 Chairs for music classes
